(Un)Controversial Science: How to talk persuasively about sensitive scientific topics

The workshop took place on June 3, 2021 and was organized by PhD students Amanda Weiss and Alice Sukhina. The workshop leader, Dr. Matthew Motta, is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Oklahoma State University. His research focuses on identifying the social and political determinants of anti-science attitudes, investigating their policy impact, and designing communication strategies that promote effective engagement between the public and the scientific community on politically contentious issues.
